Hello,
I hope that you all had a great day today. Today, was another great day on my weight-loss journey. I weighed myself first thing this morning, and I lost more weight! YAY! When I made breakfast, I added veggies to my eggs. It was delicious. My husband wanted cheese on his eggs this morning, so I made his separately, which made me have to do an extra step. However, I was determined to avoid the extra calories in cheese. Later, for lunch, I ate leftovers from last night's dinner. It was still good! My snacks were fruit today, and for my late night snack I had 1/4 cup of cereal and milk. My husband laughed at me, but I was proud of myself. Now, what I am most proud of and happy about is what I ate for dinner tonight. I have an amazing church family. We had a youth meeting at 7pm, and the Youth Pastor said he would take care of dinner in a text message. I knew this was a social trigger, so I asked would it be possible to have a healthy option. The others in the group sent GIFs of delicious unhealthy foods, and we all laughed. However, at the meeting, the Youth Pastor had Jimmy Johns. I was like this is so awesome. I thanked him for his support of my weight-loss journey. I ate a turkey and tuna sub, but they were cut very small. Therefore, altogether I ate a 6 inch sub. They were delicious! I did grab a bag of chips too, but instead of just eating them, I checked my noom app to see if I would go over my calorie count for my red foods (the section you don't want to eat too much of), and it showed me that I would exceed my limit so back the chips went on the table! I am thankful for my church family, and my Youth Pastor for having my back tonight. The Noom app encouraged me to not be afraid to share with others what I am doing because people would support me, and I am thankful that I listened. I did not have to cook dinner tonight or eat something that was unhealthy. Finally, I went running today at the park again. It was great! I pushed myself harder. I made sure that I kept my stride instead of slacking when I grew tired. While my husband played basketball, I ran. It was challenging because I wanted to stop. I do the HIT program where I run for 30 seconds and rest for 15. When I finally stopped after 2 laps around the park, I had did the HIT program for a total of 44 mins. I was super proud of myself! Today was a great day!! Be sure to comment!! TTYL, Chavon Thomas
