Hello,
I pray that you all are doing well. I finished week 2 of T-25. I feel good about that!! I am going on a no sugar challenge starting in September. It is supposed to last 21 days. I know that it is going to be so challenging, but I am looking forward to good results. I read a post today is that I can eat a cookie and be healthy at the same time. I loved that, but I am willing to go on this challenge coming up. I am still desperate for change. Even with seeing some results, I know where I want to be is far more than where I have gotten. I did try the Popeye's Chicken sandwich, I would encourage people to get the spicy one. Then, I had Chick-fil-a because they are still the best! Then, one night I had pizza, so three meals this week were not the best. I have to get back to better eating for the best results!! I have to be honest!! TTYL XOXOXOXOXO Chavon Thomas

Hello,
I hope that you all are having a great day today!!! I wanted to come and give another update. Today's word is Consistency!!! Consistency is the hardest part of the weight-loss journey. There are days where I don't want to workout or make wise decisions in my eating habits. I have been doing my T-25. I am going to get it done today! I plan to write a bog here and in on my other website (www.newbeginningswithme.com), and I will workout after that. I am not sure who else is on this journey with me or just watching me. For those who are making stride to make changes for the better and go against generational issues with health problems, I commend you. Then, for those who are watching and encouraging me on this journey, thank you!! Yesterday, I hung out with one of my friends. She is also on this journey to a better lifestyle. We have a goal to lose a certain amount of weight before the new year!!! We are determined!! What looks impossible is not!! Something to think about in this journey: "The primary reward is not the goal but what you become as a result of doing all that was necessary to reach the goal." —David McNalley XOXOXOX Chavon Thomas Hello,
I hope your day has been well. I know it is Monday, but I am thankful to still be alive. I wanted to give you all an update on the weight-loss journey. Today, I did not do my T-25 because I did 3 laps around Mt. Trashmore. I had my 10,000 steps before noon today! It was awesome!! Gym- I canceled my Planet Fitness Membership because I am going to focus on either walking outside or working out in my house. I heard someone say that you can start at home, so I am going to do that. If I can build a discipline, then I will add a gym membership again later. The key is there is no point of me continuing to pay for a gym membership, but I am not going consistently. Eating- I am starting an eating challenge with some friends in September. It is a no sugar challenge. I think it going to be tough, but it is doable. I ate a desert today, and it was good. As long as I don't make it a bad habit, it is fine. I am still desperate for change. I still weigh myself every morning to keep myself focused on what I am supposed to be doing and to watch the changes in my body. Thank you for reading the blog today!!! We can do this!! XOXOXOXOXO Chavon Thomas Hello,
It's Sunday!!! I had a beautiful Sunday worship service at my church! I hope that your Sunday is going well. I finished T-25 this past week. On Friday, I was supposed to do two DVDs, but I only did one because my husband and I went walking at Mt. Trashmore Park on Saturday, which was supposed to be my rest day. The distance around the entire perimeter is 3 miles, and we went around twice. Once we went around doing the HIT program (running for a certain distance and then walking). Then the second time, we just walked. Today, is a stretch DVD. I will do that before I go to bed tonight. We are hitting the road tomorrow morning to visit Rhode Island. We are going to see my husband's family. Pray for me that I do the right thing. In reality, I actually feel the difference in my body when I go beyond what i need in my food category types. I fill so heavy and unproductive. Therefore, if I can remember that before I act, I should be just fine. My noom app, I use now just for weigh-ins and food checks. There has been so much that I have learned from that app!! One thing is that I try my best to stop classifying food as good or bad, but rather, I am trying to focus on what type of food I am eating to see if I have room for it in my caloric density count. It is tough changing my lifestyle, but I really want to live a fit and healthy life. I am looking forward to my flat stomach and a few packs lol. It does not have to be a 6 pack. Thank you for reading today!! XOXOXO Chavon Thomas Hello,
I have not posted in a while. However, I have been doing much better since I have been back in VA!! I have lost all the weight that I gained the week I was out of town!!! I plan to get back to my consistent posting today!!! I started the Shaun-T Program T-25 this Sunday!!! I had the DVDs since last year, but I did not consistently use them. My plan is to change that this time!! The program has Monday- Friday workouts, and Saturday is rest day!! Then, Sunday is stretch day!! I have lost more weight this week. I will keep you updated!! Friends!! My sis, Ty, and I are keeping one another accountable!! Out goal is to lose a significant amount of weight before the new year!! We want to go into the new year a healthier and fitter version of ourselves!! Our New Year's resolution will be to continue what we started in 2019!! That's different right?!! The noom app, I still use it!! I still weigh myself everyday. It can be hard when I dont see the number go down more, but it has been cool to see the inches drop! I was able to go down a level on my belt!! It's the little victories!!! TTYL, Chavon Thomas |
